Current projects

Support of local initiatives in West Papua

All projects supported by the SDSP originate from local initiatives. The main idea is that the Papua people have to come with new ideas and proposals themselves instead of projects being imposed upon them. To select new projects, we use a number of criteria.

Our volunteers help the local people with the accomplishment of the projects. Support is being asked from governements, developmental organisations, the public and private sector and (multinational) companies. We depend on donations to make the execution of projects possible.
