Foundation for a Sustainable Development in Papua Barat (SDSP)
SDSP was founded from private initiative in 1995. SDSP facilitates -with funding, advice and training- the realization of a sustainable society by the Papuan people, whilst preserving local identity and culture. A society that has healthcare, education, housing, agriculture and nature conservation organized efficiently and effectively.
SDSP supported projects spring from local initiatives. SDSP is a Dutch NGO without political or religious backgrounds and is run completely by volunteers. It raises awareness for West Papua with governments, development organizations, social organizations, private persons and corporations.
The purpose is to obtain structural financial support for projects, research and studies. For the execution of its projects SDSP is dependent on donations. |
